Bears and Honey Testimonials
“One of my best stays in recent times. Totally recommend for party of 10 -12 people. Amenities are great in the cabin which exactly as shown in the pictures. The only drawback was the grill which did not meet our expectations...”

“We were very happy with this cabin. When we walked in we were all excited by the views, the nice layout, clean appearance and comfortable feel. There are 3 levels with 2 decks, hot tub, deck swings, picnic table. Multiple arcade games, pool table , air hockey, washer dryer, theater room. It was the best get away we've had with all the kids (ages from toddler to grown). The teenage boys were super excited to see the place. The teenagers slept on the bottom level, mom and dad on main level master bedroom, and the adult kids took the two upstairs bedrooms with their babies and toddlers. It was perfect! We were a little anxious about the drive up to the cabin after reading about the location because a couple of family members get car sick easily. We ended up having no problems at all. Just take it slow around the curves. It's a pretty steep climb but really not as far or bad as we expected. (our cars could not have made it in snow however) We bought groceries at Food City before heading to the cabin (after all meeting up for a few hours in Gatlinburg). It was not far to that grocery store at all. THe front of the cabin sits pretty close to the road. Parking is in front of cabin, right off the road. We parked 4 cars side by side easily. The back of the cabin looks over the side of the mountain and is breathtaking view. At night we could see the lights of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The owners were super easy to work with. We stayed in contact via email leading up to our visit. She was helpful and kind, and although we did not need any assistance while we were there, I felt comfortable that she would have been quick to respond if we had. We truly had a great time and never left the cabin once we got there. (Friday afternoon till Sunday) ”

“This home was truly perfect. As soon as we walked in the door we were blown away by the amazing view. A view is a must for me and this home did not disappoint. At night the city lights are beautiful. We love the layout of the home. The master bedroom is on the main level, bunk beds are on the bottom level with the game room, and there are two bedrooms upstairs. Each room has its own bathroom which is a great feature. There are televisions in every room. We enjoyed being in the kitchen preparing meals while watching Family Feud. Everyone joined in trying to guess the answers. It was fun! The drive up the mountain to the home is steep and can be a little of a challenge, but very doable. This is our third cabin rental and we've always had steep drives to get to each of them. I've never had to have a 4x4, truck or SUV to get to any of the homes. I've always driven a regular car and have always made it just fine. It was nice and cold during our trip. Low got to 3 degrees and highs in the upper 20s. One morning we had slow flurries. Perfect weather for us Floridians. We were hoping for cold and snow (even if just flurries) and we got it. We had two senior citizens in our group. One word of warning is that there are no hand rails or anything to hold on to as you go up and down the stairs on each floor and the stairs are a little steep. Furnishings in the home are beautiful. We love all the bear decorations, wood bedroom furniture and wood throughout the home. We love that true cabin feel and look. The home was clean and all the video games worked just fine. We did have a small issue with the heating system on the bottom floor and a few other minor things come up, but when I contacted the owner she immediately had her property management team take care of it. Angie went above and beyond to make sure the heating system was fixed and that any issues were immediately addressed. The home has two crawl spaces in the upstairs bedrooms. On two different nights we heard noises coming from the crawl spaces. Apparently they were squirrels. I informed Angie and the next day and during the rest of our trip we didn't hear them anymore. I'll have to admit, I was little freaked out knowing squirrels were right there, but we are in the woods and this kinda stuff might happen. I see it as all being part of the cabin in the woods experience. Overall, we loved this home and my husband has already said he would like to come back to this same property. ”

“We have rented through VRBO frequently and always had good luck. This was no exception. Very clean and exactly as pictured. Great views, quiet and private. Our 4 kids loved having their own arcade and we all enjoyed watching movies together after a day in town. I would recommend you bring beach towels for the hot tub as there were only enough for bathing so I was always drying them! Also remember some dish detergent as there were just 2 packs of dishwasher detergent for 4 days. We ate in most meals so that might not be an issue for others. The kids were all very sad to leave and are already requesting that we go back and stay at this exact cabin. ”

“We rented this cabin for spring break. This was by far the best vacation we have taken. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. We had a view from every room we sat in, even while sitting at the table eating at night. We really enjoyed the gameroom and theater. We were able to spend quality time with our family without going out every day and spending a lot of extra money. We stayed up late watching movies every night. I can't say enough about the view this cabin has! The roads to the cabin are somewhat mountainous. It was very worth the drive. It is pretty close to Pigeon Forge, less than 15 minutes to downtown Pigeon Forge (and not driving very fast). I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who has a family and wants to get some quality time in. The cabin was clean and exactly what we expected. We will definitely be back.”

“We stayed at Mountain Bearadise beginning of August 2016 for a week. Booking and reserving was easy. I was very nervous about what to expect after reading other companies reviews. When we walked in and did our tour, I was amazed. Minus a few cosmetic flaws, the cabin was clean and decorated beautifully.”

“Just visited the Bears and Honey cabin 2 wks ago. This cabin is amazing. My family and I enjoyed it. If we ever visit TN again we will most definetly book from Fun Zone Cabins again. The only complaint I would have are there are hardly enough towels for the amount of people it sleeps and the pots and pans can be updates. Other than that, AWESOMENESS!”

“My wife and I rented one of their cabins back last August, and we and the kids were thrilled with the rental (Honey Bear). Place was immaculately clean and a great price given the multiple arcade units and skeeball machine, in addition to a pool table and hot tub. Owner was very easy/pleasant to work with.”
